Each day provides a variety of new work orders to assign, dispatching technicians to service heavy equipment repairs, and communicating throughout the day with customers and technicians as workload evolves. Manage open job and track work orders from opening to completion. Review work orders prior to billing, debriefing technicians as needed. Maintaining dispatch board to ensure efficiency of workload with the assistance of GPS. Create and maintain rental contracts as required. Review timecards for accuracy and proper allocations of labor times. Work with other departments as needed, manage preventative maintenance work load.It takes a special kind of Dispatcher to accomplish these tasks.
