Training Administrator

The Metropolitan Council is currently accepting applications for the position of Training Administrator. The Training Administrator provides high-level administrative, logistical, and technical support for the Workforce and Equity Department's technical training programs. This role coordinates training schedules across multiple locations, manages course registrations and learner records, and maintains accurate data within the Learning Management System (LMS). Responsibilities include preparing training materials and classrooms, supporting instructors, tracking attendance and training completions, generating reports, and ensuring required documentation is complete. The position also coordinates with external training vendors, processes training-related invoices and purchase requests, and manages classroom equipment and supplies. Additional duties include supporting employee onboarding, coordinating facility reservations, submitting work requests, and maintaining standard operating procedures. Success in this role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality. The Training Administrator works independently in a fast-paced environment and provides outstanding customer service to employees, instructors, and stakeholders across the organization.
