Together, we pursue a shared mission to create a more sustainable future.Job DescriptionThe Dispatcher coordinates and monitors WTS Service Operations, performing all tasks in a manner that reflects the company's commitment to service and readily assisting both internal and external customers at every available opportunity.Key CharacteristicsAnalytical and problem solving skillsCommunication skillsStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsStrong organizational and analytical skillsDuties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain harmonious relations with customers at all times.Coordinate activities with Service Technicians and appropriate department Managers including Plant Managers or their designated representatives.Act as an information source for company Managers on field information.Receive customer requests for service.Act as first step in creating the service call and schedule.Gather pertinent information – determine type of equipment, necessary supplies, and test equipment required to execute the service call.Receive and process salt/chemical orders from Sales, Service, and customers.Dispatch Service Technicians and equipment from Service Center or divert equipment in route, if necessary, to the appropriate job sites.Maintain contact with Service Technicians and customers while on duty to ensure 100% accountability.Maintain various records and logs, including daily productivity reports, time logs, and various schedules.Alert all pertinent Managers to developing field situations and customer related call-ins.Require transfer of information at shift change.Enter job specific data into the computer.Perform other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesDemonstrated ability to work independently and with teams.Strong oral and written communication skills.Ability to manage multiple high-level priorities simultaneously.QualificationsRequiredHS Diploma or GED Equivalent3 years of work experience in a Call Center or Customer Service Environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP) and proficient keyboarding skills.Eligibility RequirementsAbility and willingness to support services to include industrial facilities, manufacturing facilities, and power industry facilities.Ability and willingness to work alternate work schedules.Preferred1 year work experience in Dispatch for a Service Industry desirable.1 year work experience with multi-line telephone and two-way radio communications desirable.Working DOT knowledge.Experience with Water Treatment Industry in Logistics or Services.Desired Work Traits:Clear thinker – ability to identify and prioritize action items quickly and efficiently.Excellent demonstrated professional communication skills, verbal and written.Teamwork skills.Troubleshooting and problem solving skills.Dependable, accountable and diligent.Additional InformationCompensation is competitively benchmarked to the market.
