ResponsibilitiesProvide 24/7 situational awareness and situational understanding of activities of interest in the RegionPrepare oral and written briefings and disseminate briefingsMaintain and track status of equipment in ROCProvide immediate response to situations requiring immediate action or notification regarding ongoing activities in RegionSupport crisis action management in support of Region operationsScreen, categorize and distribute incoming messagesControl access into the Regional Operations CenterExecute Continuity of Operations activitiesPrepare execute summaries and other reports as directed and required by policy and Standard Operating ProceduresReceive and process information into situational awareness displaysProvide all-hazards warningsCoordinate with core Protection Ashore capabilities including Fire and Emergency Services, Anti-Terrorism, and Emergency Management staffsQualificationsKnowledge of DOD Title 10 responsibilities desiredKnowledge of Navy/DOD organization, role of CNIC, and Navy/DOD missionDemonstrate the ability to analyze information and make recommendations under rapidly changing conditionsDemonstrate the ability to articulate complex issues and resolutions both orally and verballyAbility to work as part of a multi-disciplinary teamOutstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and work under constant pressureSkills in applying complex fact-finding, analytical, and problem solving methods and techniquesSkill in written and oral communications sufficient to prepare and present findings and recommendations to senior officialsAbility to work multiple actions concurrentlyMust be a U.S. CitizenEducation and/or ExperienceHigh School diploma required, Bachelor's Degree desiredTen Years of Military ExperienceFive years DOD or DHS operations center environment experience recommendedRequirements / AbilitiesMust complete the following on-line courses before work start date:FEMA Course 100 (ICS 100), Introduction to Incident Command SystemFEMA Course 200 (ICS 200), IC for Single Resources/Initial ActionFEMA Course IS-700, National Incident Management SystemFEMA Course IS-800, National Response PlanGeographic LocationLocations where TENICA positions are available include Navy Joint Region Marianas; Guam#J-18808-Ljbffr
