Position SummaryFull‑time candidate must be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in NJ and possess a valid NJ Driver's License. Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Municipal Engineer is preferred.Supervises the field and office engineering work involved in municipal construction activities.Develops budget and capital improvement plans.Supervises department staff and contracted consultants.Ensures team is detail oriented, capable of multi‑tasking, demonstrates sound judgement, and communicates effectively with the Administrator, governing body, other municipal officials, employees, the general public, and general contractors.Gathers experience in traffic, sewer, road construction, project management, and general civil and mechanical engineering.Knows Federal and State grants including but not limited to CDBG, DOT, Open Space, and Green Acres.Salary range is $100,000 – $160,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
