About the Role

The Company is seeking a Deputy General Counsel, Corporate to join their dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will be a senior leader responsible for corporate governance, strategic transactions, and securities compliance. This role requires a highly skilled legal professional with a J.D. from an accredited law school, an active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, and a minimum of 12 years of combined law firm and in-house experience, with a strong focus on corporate governance, M&A, securities law, and complex transactions. The Deputy General Counsel will oversee all corporate, securities, and governance matters, lead capital markets activities, and manage M&A and strategic investments.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in advising on and executing IPOs, public offerings, and other major corporate financing events in the U.S., as well as deep expertise in leading M&A and strategic transactions. They should be adept at partnering with and presenting to Boards of Directors, executive teams, and cross-functional senior leaders. The role demands exceptional communication skills, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and a talent for building and managing scalable corporate processes and operational infrastructure. The Deputy General Counsel will also be expected to serve as a strategic business partner, delivering clear, pragmatic, and business-oriented legal guidance, and to ensure the company's legal functions are in line with best-in-class public company practices.
