Legionella Risk AssessorLocation: CambridgeSalary: up to £34,000 (DOE) + benefitsAbout the CompanyOur services include environmental monitoring and consultancy, water safety and hygiene solutions, Legionella risk assessments, water system management, fire safety consultancy and inspections, occupational hygiene assessments, workplace exposure monitoring, and specialist advisory support on regulatory and sustainability challenges.We are looking for a driven, dependable, and flexible professional to join our expanding team in Glasgow. As part of the Water Hygiene division, you will need to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team. Due to the nature of the role, travel will form part of your day-to-day responsibilities.Your primary duties will include undertaking Legionella risk assessments, written scheme audits, and internal quality checks across a range of client sites.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct Legionella risk assessments of domestic and commercial water systemsComplete audits of management controls and planned preventative monitoring regimesCarry out internal quality checks and compliance reviewsUndertake general water hygiene tasks including outlet flushing, temperature monitoring, and water samplingProduce clear, accurate, and professional reports for clientsBuild strong working relationships with customers and site contactsEnsure all works are completed in accordance with current legislation and company proceduresAbout YouWMSoc or City & Guilds qualification in Legionella Risk AssessmentWorking knowledge of ACoP L8, HSG274, and BS 8580Understanding of complex water systems including water softeners, vehicle washes, and industrial processes – desirableExperience of written scheme of control auditsStrong client communication skillsCompetent report writing abilityGood IT skills including Microsoft Word and ExcelAbility to work independently and manage workload effectivelyFlexibility to travel as requiredAbility to pass Enhanced DBS checks and obtain MOD security clearanceApply NowIf you are an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor looking to join a respected and growing organisation with excellent career prospects, we would love to hear from you.
