Our business model focuses on integrity, loyalty, and trust.Position OverviewProvide support to The United States Coast Guard (USCG), CG‑AIR's Aviation Logistics Center (ALC), Aviation Projects Acquisition Center (APAC), and Office of Aeronautical Engineering (CG‑AIR‑E).Essential Job FunctionAttend daily/weekly meetings including Theory of Constraints, Issue Resolution, Full Kit, and Industrial Team Meetings, reporting any supply/kitting issues affecting the PDM production schedule.Review logistics performance with customers against established targets, benchmarks, and service agreements.Collaborate with other departments to meet customer requirements and minimize negative impacts on the Product Line and/or Air Stations.Evaluate material, supply, and finished product availability and allocation to maximize value and reduce costs.Build and maintain positive business relationships with key personnel involved in logistics activities.Present proposed solutions to customers, management, or other stakeholders through written proposals and oral presentations.Stay updated on logistics technology advancements and apply them to improve processes.Estimate quantities, costs, resources, and materials needed for PDM full kitting.Ensure proper receipt of equipment and materials.Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, making necessary kit adjustments.Report full kit plans, progress, and delays.Monitor incoming components and supplies, verifying proper identifying documentation.Maintain kit inventory status in Concerto and on respective cabinets and inventory control points.Conduct quarterly kit reviews to ensure items are correctly identified (e.g., aircraft‑specific, supply candidate, hangar deck items, supply, Auto 6000).Perform daily maintenance of two‑bin inventory systems.Organize and update the tag bible for all routed assets.Respond to inquiries regarding kit status.Report back orders or delays in full kitting to managers or other personnel.Develop training materials and process guides for full kit processes and conduct internal audits.Protect and control proprietary materials handled at CG‑AIR.Support monthly updates to technical manuals (ATIP).Minimum QualificationsU.S. CitizenRead, write, speak, and comprehend EnglishExcellent written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of basic arithmeticKnowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlinesAbility to work with minimal Government oversightHigh school diploma or equivalentAt least 10 years' experience in supply/logistics (civilian or military)Desired QualificationsIntermediate experience with ALMISIntermediate experience with AMMISIntermediate experience with Critical Chain Project Management Tool (Concerto)Knowledge of Theory of Constraints (Concerto)1 year experience in USCG proceduresProficiency in ALMISProficiency in AMMISBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision coverageLife insuranceShort‑term and long‑term disability coverageRetirement savings – 401(k)Paid time off (PTO)Holiday leaveAlternate work schedules (depending on work site)Flexible spending account optionsSTI‑TEC is an equal‑opportunity employer and values diversity.
