Responsibilities Conduct complex risk assessments for insured properties and operations to inform underwriting decisionsIdentify potential risk exposures and formulate strategic recommendations to mitigate identified risksInterpret and analyze loss data to identify patterns and design and implement loss prevention programs tailored to client‑specific needsProvide advanced technical guidance and conduct training for clients on safety practices and regulatory complianceMonitor the effectiveness of loss control measures and make strategic adjustments to enhance outcomes as neededPossibly be responsible for performance and coaching of staff, and participate in talent selection, development, and performance management for direct reportsRequirements Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management and Insurance, Safety Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experienceGenerally, a minimum of 9 years of experience in loss control, risk management, or a related field within the property and casualty insurance industryCompletion of or continuing progress toward a professional designation preferred, such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS), Certified Safety and Health Management (CSHMS), Associate Loss Control Management (ALCM) or Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST)Works on assignments of moderate to higher technical and logistical complexityDisplays advanced analytical, risk assessment, and problem‑solving skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills and results‑oriented consultative skillsCertifications & Qualifications Certified Safety Professional (CSP)Associate in Risk Management (ARM)Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS)Certified Safety and Health Management (CSHMS)Associate Loss Control Management (ALCM)Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST)#J-18808-Ljbffr
