Security Officer General Access

Allied Universal - - Responsibilities: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical manufacturing location; Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed; Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, production support areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions; Monitor access points and verify entry permissions for employees, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols and hazardous location requirements; Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, patrol activities, and/or policy concerns, and report maintenance, access control, or operational issues to the appropriate personnel
