Cortland County, New York is seeking a highly capable and collaborative public sector leader to serve in this pivotal executive role supporting the County Administrator and strengthening internal operations across County government. This position offers the opportunity to play a central role in enhancing coordination, advancing strategic priorities, and improving organizational performance across approximately 28 departments and 600 employees.

Reporting directly to the County Administrator, the Deputy County Administrator will serve as a key operational leader—helping translate priorities into action, supporting budget development and financial strategy, improving internal workflows, and driving cross-departmental initiatives. This is an ideal opportunity for a professional with strong administrative, financial, and organizational expertise who excels in execution, coordination, and public sector leadership.
