Job SummaryAs a QC- Inspector, you will oversee the successful implementation of the Quality Control Program to ensure compliance with the project contract, conduct weekly quality control meetings with Engineers, provide reports as needed on the project, answer client questions, and be the go-to person for this project.Job ResponsibilitiesManage routine to moderately complex projects by providing all technical expertise required to meet/exceed client expectationsPrepare proposals, project set-up, processes contracts, test data review, field report review, prepares project summary reports and prepares invoicesHelp train and review field techniciansHold face to face meetings with new and existing clients or contractorsPerform and review various field and laboratory tests on soils, concrete and aggregate materialsPrepare various levels of reporting responsibilities depending on the scope of services of a projectWork with operations to coordinate field staff on projects as neededAssist with training as neededWork independently when on job siteWork with project engineers and clients to ensure that client specifications are followedProvide solutions for onsite construction issuesJob Skills & RequirementsPE with one year of airport paving experienceEIT with two years of airport paving experienceThree years of highway and/or airport paving construction experience with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology or Construction.NICET III certified in highway materials technician, highway construction technician, or construction materials technician.NICET II with three or more years of relevant experience (highway/transportation) required OR B.S.
