Job DescriptionImmediate Opening for a Fulltime Loss Prevention Officer at Retail Store Pekin, IL.Location: Retail Store Pekin, IL.If you have any questions email LPOperations@1stclasssecurity.com.Hours: Full-time / 40 hours per week.Compensation: $21.00 per hour. Benefits include Health Insurance, 401k, PTO.ResponsibilitiesIdentify and apprehend shoplifters through floor patrol and CCTV.Report writing.Interacting with local law enforcement agencies as needed.Provide courtroom testimony as required.RequirementsPre‑Employment criminal background and drug screen.Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3‑4 hours at a time.Reliable transportation.Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means.Ability to write legible, accurate, and easily understood reports.Assertive yet controlled in dealing with confrontation.Trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision.Attendance for scheduled shifts. Tardiness and absenteeism are not tolerated.Previous loss prevention experience a plus, but not required.High school diploma or equivalent (minimum).Criminal Justice or related studies a plus.Additional QualificationsMust obtain state required PERC prior to employment.
