• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 PM-2:00 AM (30 hours/week)

• This is a temporary position with hours available through the winter. There is the possibility of permanent employment based on business needs and employee performance.
• This is an unarmed position. Officers are not authorized to carry firearms, weapons, ammunition, or other protective devices or gear while on duty.

• Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional, visible security presence.
- Deter unauthorized persons from entering or remaining on the property.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and report suspicious activity.
- Conduct documented hourly interior and exterior patrols.
- Observe and report disturbances, property damage, safety hazards, and suspicious behavior.
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents.
- Complete accurate activity logs and incident reports.
- Communicate effectively with residents, property management, and Per Mar supervisors.
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a courteous, professional, and authoritative presence.
- Help maintain a safe, secure, and quiet environment for residents.
• The ideal candidate is:
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Personable while maintaining authority when needed.
- Comfortable working independently.
- Observant, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure.
- Able to work primarily indoors while conducting scheduled exterior patrols.
- Comfortable using computers and surveillance systems.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be able to obtain a Wisconsin Security License through the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS).*
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and general computer applications.
- Previous security experience.
- Overnight or third-shift experience.
- Access control or entry point monitoring experience.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Walk and stand for extended periods as needed for patrols.
- Conduct hourly interior and exterior patrols.
- Monitor surveillance systems.
- Respond quickly to incidents.
- Sitting between rounds.
