We are seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney to oversee our immigration department and lead a team of support staff.The ideal candidate is an experienced immigration attorney with strong leadership skills, excellent legal judgment, and the ability to manage both complex cases and team operations in a fast‑paced environment.ResponsibilitiesManage and supervise the immigration legal teamOversee case preparation and ensure quality control across all filingsHandle immigration matters before USCIS and EOIR, including:Family‑based petitions and Adjustment of statusRemoval defense & appealsAsylumU VisasWaiversMotions and bond hearingsConsular processingReview and prepare legal filings, declarations, briefs and supporting evidenceConduct client consultations and develop case strategyMonitor deadlines, court appearances, and case progressionMentor and support attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistantsMaintain accurate records using Clio, Docketwise, and related systemsQualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolLicensed and in good standing with a U.S. state barMinimum 3 years of immigration law experienceStrong knowledge of USCIS and EOIR proceduresExperience managing immigration cases from start to finishPrior leadership or supervisory experience preferredStrong writing, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage a high‑volume caseloadBilingual Spanish/English strongly preferredExperience with Clio and Docketwise preferredCompensation & BenefitsSalary range: $100,000–$125,000 based on experiencePerformance‑based bonusesHealth, dental and vision insurance401(k) with 3% match3 Weeks paid time off and paid holidaysProfessional development: 100% employer paid CLEs, legal education courses, bar dues and professional trainingOpportunities for advancementTravel and expense reimbursementsFlexible scheduleCompany DescriptionPeynado Law Firm is a nationally recognized, award‑winning boutique law firm based in Lawrenceville, Georgia, specializing in immigration and personal injury law.
