Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Trial Counsel in Raleigh, NC. This position offers the opportunity to represent clients in personal injury cases throughout North Carolina. The ideal candidate will possess strong courtroom skills, proven litigation experience, and a commitment to client service.Duties Represent clients in personal injury matters from initial litigation through settlement or verdict.Draft and file litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, and legal memoranda.Conduct and defend depositions.Handle mediations, hearings, and trial proceedings, including jury selection, opening/closing statements, and examinations.Collaborate with paralegals and litigation support staff to ensure thorough case preparation.Requirements Active membership in the North Carolina Bar, in good standing.Ideally 1+ years of litigation/trial experience in personal injury or related areas, but willing to train those with less experience.Strong negotiation, advocacy, and courtroom skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree.Certifications Active North Carolina Bar license.Skills Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Benefits Not specified.#J-18808-Ljbffr
