A Dispatcher coordinates activities of drivers engaged in delivery of equipment and materials to ensure operational success. This position must be self-motivated with a high degree of responsibility including confidentiality, sense of urgency, and accountability to be successful in the role. Under limited supervision, this position will exercise considerable initiatives, requiring time planning and scope strategy skills. Critical for success are the abilities to follow direction, multitask under extreme deadlines, work/interact well with others, and work long hours including evening and weekends.

What it takes:
- 3-5 years of relevant construction industry or transportation experience
- Computer proficiency
- Negotiation skills
- Familiar with a variety of the DOT concepts, practices, and procedures
- Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team
