The City of Monroe is now accepting applications for Lateral Entry Level Patrol OfficerHIRING PROCESS:The lateral entry hiring process will consist of a panel interview, full background check, and other testing as determined appropriate.Full-time experience is defined as a minimum of 32 hours worked per week for 9 of the previous 12 months prior to submission of an application or appointment with the City of Monroe.Candidates receiving a conditional offer of employment will be subject to successful completion of the following:Background InvestigationTruth Verification/CVSAPhysical & Drug ScreeningPsychological AssessmentThe hiring process can take 4 to 6 months, up to a full year to complete.
