To support the design and development of training solutions for Department of Defense customers, the part-time Instructional Systems Designer will apply the ADDIE model, collaborate with subject matter experts, and create engaging multimedia content in a remote capacity.Key responsibilitiesDesign, develop, and evaluate instructional materials and curricula for various learning environments using the ADDIE modelCollaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather content and validate instructional approachesConduct evaluations to ensure learning effectiveness and compliance with DoD standardsRequired qualificationsPrior military aviation maintenance and training experience is absolutely requiredBachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Training Development, or a related field5+ years of instructional design experience, with at least 3 years supporting DoD or federal government training initiativesStrong knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologiesProficiency in eLearning development tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
