To support a critical federal contract, the remote Journeyman Security Controls Assessor will execute security control assessments, compliance verifications, and evaluations of organizational information systems while collaborating with the cybersecurity assurance team.Key responsibilitiesConduct security control assessments using various methods to verify compliance with established frameworksDocument testing results and present assessment findings to stakeholders, ensuring clarity in non-compliant areasStay updated on emerging cyber threats and contribute to the development of enterprise information security policies and standardsRequired qualificationsBachelor's degree (BS/BA) or equivalent professional experienceSecurity+ certification or higher6-8 years of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, or IT auditingHands-on experience performing security controls assessments of systems of moderate complexityU.S. citizenship with the ability to pass a background investigation and obtain DHS Suitability/Entry on Duty (EOD)
