Dispatcher
We're looking for a responsible and skilled Dispatcher to join our team. This plays a crucial role in coordinating the delivery of Cemex products, ensuring efficient and timely service to our customers.
As a Dispatcher at Cemex, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Delivery Scheduling: Coordinate with production and yard personnel to schedule deliveries, factoring in truck capacity, delivery distances, and unloading times.
- Customer Service Collaboration: Work closely with customer service representatives to optimize delivery schedules.
- Driver Assignment: Assign drivers for concrete product deliveries and generate sales reports.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and promptly address any service quality issues.
- Internal Relationship Building: Cultivate internal relationships to understand and fulfill customer needs.
- Load Tracking: Record mix components for each load and maintain driver communication to streamline deliveries.
- Process Improvement: Recommend procedural enhancements to improve customer service.
- Documentation Management: Generate and manage invoices, delivery tickets, and shipping documents.
To succeed in this role, you should bring:
- Educational and Licensing Requirements: High School Diploma.
- Experience: Preferably 1 year of dispatching experience.
- Skills: Proficiency in OSHA standards and regulations. Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure. Attention to detail and strong decision-making skills.
Working Conditions:
Safety First: Wearing protective equipment and adhering to safety protocols is a must. Dynamic Environment: You'll work in diverse environments, including exposure to varying conditions such as outdoor industrial operations settings. Physical Requirements: Expect frequent walking, sitting, lifting (up to 50 pounds), pushing, pulling, and climbing as part of your daily routine.
