Overview 'Kotahi anō te kaupapa, ko te oranga o te iwi' – ‘There is only one purpose to our work: the wellness and wellbeing of our people.'We are seeking a full‑time, permanent Case Manager based at the Spring Hill Corrections Facility. The role focuses on supporting prisoners in their rehabilitation, ensuring tailor‑made case plans and preparing them for release.Responsibilities Provide specialist, end‑to‑end case management for prisoners, including initial assessment, identification of prisoner needs, case planning and preparation for release.Utilise a range of services and techniques to work collaboratively with external agencies and prisoner Whānau.Apply sound professional judgement to align appropriate services with prisoner needs.Demonstrate integrity and embody Departmental values of Wairua, Whānau, Manaaki, Kaitiaki and Rangatira.Work Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day between 7:00am and 6:00pm.Qualifications Knowledge and experience working with Māori and Pacific Peoples, their whanau and communities.Experience in rehabilitation and reintegration disciplines and practices.Effective relationship management and communication skills.Ability to motivate and support prisoners to make positive changes.Full, clean New Zealand driver's licence.Benefits The starting salary for this role is $70,956.About Us Join Ara Poutama Aotearoa – Department of Corrections, where your work contributes to improving public safety, reducing re‑offending and addressing the overrepresentation of Māori in correctional facilities.
