Position Description:

CGI has an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Tools Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a cloud‑based shared services solution delivering mobile device management and mobile security capabilities to more than 65 government agencies. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic enterprise mobility environment, support a diverse customer base, and collaborate with cross‑functional cybersecurity and IT operations teams. The Mobile Tools SME will guide customers on industry‑leading mobile management platforms, contribute to incident, request, change, and configuration workflows, and help ensure secure, compliant, high‑quality mobile services across the enterprise.

This position is located in one of CGI Federal's offices in Fairfax, VA or Lafayette, LA; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to work in a CGI Federal office two days per week.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Provide advanced support for mobile device management and security platforms, including MobileIron, Microsoft Intune, VMware Workspace ONE, Zimperium, and Lookout.

• Support agency mobile tool deployments; troubleshoot escalated issues related to devices, applications, enrollment, configuration, and compliance.

• Create, update, and monitor mobile‑related ServiceNow tickets with accurate categorization and timely resolution.

• Use platform documentation and internal knowledge articles to research and resolve customer requests.

• Develop and maintain documentation, configuration guides, and operational procedures.

• Generate reports on device compliance, security posture, enrollment activity, and platform health.

• Contribute expertise to develop new Knowledge Base content.

• Collaborate with engineering, security operations, and service delivery teams to improve mobile services.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required as well as successful passing of CGI background check prior to beginning work. In addition, candidates must have ability to obtain and maintain a DHS/CISA EOD/Public Trust clearance.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer‑focused mindset.

• Clear, effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, and support teams.

• Experience supporting MDM or MAM platforms in an enterprise environment.

• Hands‑on experience with at least two major platforms such as MobileIron, Intune, Workspace ONE, Zimperium, or Lookout.

Desired qualifications:

• Experience providing Tier 2 or Tier 3 support for mobile platforms.

• Experience supporting enterprise or shared‑service mobility solutions.

• Familiarity with mobile security tools and terminology.

• Exposure to ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.

• Understanding of mobile configuration, policy management, device compliance, and security enforcement.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $127,500.00 $276,200.00.
