Tier 2 SOC Analyst (10)

Seeking a client-facing Tier 2 SOC Analyst, the full-time remote position will manage the client's detection strategy, organize detections, and lead analysis and remediation efforts for Attack Surface Reduction functions.Key responsibilitiesCreate internal alert strategy and process documentation for identifying and prioritizing alerting opportunitiesReview and tune noisy alerts to reduce alert fatigue and assess alerts that haven't triggered for logic improvementsCoordinate with MDR provider and Incident Responders to analyze alerts, create regular reporting, and implement security remediation changesRequired qualifications5+ years of Security Operations or equivalent experienceExperience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) toolsProficiency in mapping detections to common frameworks and risk reduction modelsFamiliarity with the latest trends in attacker TTPs
