Providing strategic and technical expertise in public health surveillance, the full-time Senior Public Health Analyst will work remotely to support CDC initiatives, advise on disease investigation workflows, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance epidemiologic practices and surveillance capabilities.Key responsibilitiesProvide epidemiology and public health surveillance expertise to support modernization initiativesCollaborate with teams to develop, validate, and refine epidemiologic requirements and functional designsEvaluate proposed modernization features and recommend improvements for surveillance workflowsRequired qualificationsMaster's degree and at least 10 years, or bachelor's degree and at least 12 years of experience in public health surveillance and epidemiologyExperience supporting CDC and/or STLT public health agenciesDemonstrated knowledge of national public health surveillance systems and disease reporting regulationsExperience translating epidemiologic workflows into business requirements or system specificationsAbility to complete a Position of Public Trust Level 5 background investigation
