We are a nationally recognized fire protection company that engineers, fabricates, and installs fire sprinkler systems and alarms for structures including commercial buildings, government buildings, healthcare facilities, high‑rise condominiums, and mixed‑use projects.Northstar Fire Protection is looking for a Fire Protection Project Manager to lead the construction of quality and competitive Fire Protection systems in an ever‑changing economy.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesManage multiple projects for Fire Protection Systems.Attend project jobsite meetings, start‑up meetings and understand the complete scope of work required for projects.Review and understand all of the project bid documents.Assist with change order estimates.Coordinate with general contractors and construction managers for scheduling and other coordination types of meetings.Complete equipment submittals of various products for approvals.Assist accounting staff with billing information.Maintain and follow operations and maintenance manuals.Work as a team with our engineering and estimating staff.Submit and retrieve permits from local AHJ.Purchase selected materials for your project.Assist and provide support for field operations.Able to see the overall requirements of customer satisfaction without losing sight of the details.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsGeneral knowledge of construction and fire protection sprinkler / alarm systems.Computer literate and comfortable with spreadsheets and computerized software programs.Excellent communication skills with customers, vendors, subcontractors, general contractors, and owners.Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required.Equal Opportunity EmployerEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled#J-18808-Ljbffr
