Job Summary
Performs heavy manual work collecting commercial/residential refuse and recyclable materials in designated areas of the City of Orlando. Is responsible for cleaning of collection vehicles. Must be safety conscious as work is performed in the streets. Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Sanitation Equipment Operator and is reviewed while in progress and upon completion for compliance with established guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to follow instructions. Some prior manual general labor experience desired; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:
- Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
- Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
- Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
- Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
