Logistics Technician The Logistic Technician will provide support services during the assigned shift in accordance with the Grady Health System Policies & Procedures and the EMS operations manual. This individual will coordinate with the Lead Logistic Technician on a daily basis to ensure all assignments are completed, and assume responsibility for decision-making regarding operations in the absence of the Lead Logistic Technician. In addition, the Logistic Tech will act as a role model by having a high level of technical competence in the area of support services, and demonstrate complete understanding of all aspects of the support services division. Furthermore, this individual will ensure all on-line vehicles and equipment are in an acceptable state of readiness at all times, and will be held accountable for exemplifying excellent service behavior and timely responsiveness to co-workers, patients, clients, visitors, physicians and vendors.Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED requiredMust possess accurate basic math skillsMust possess basic knowledge of medical terminologyExercise excellent customer service skillsProficient in reading, writing, and speaking English fluentlyMust hold and maintain a current and valid Driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record per departmental policyMust be available for 24 hour recall in emergency situationsMust be flexible with assigned work schedule to meet department demandsEqual Opportunity Employer-Minorities/Females/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity.
