Full Time
Integrated administrative, clerical, logistical, financial, and organizational analytical support to the Navy DSRC mission. This role supports daily operations, financial management, travel processing, program documentation, reporting, and organizational effectiveness within a Navy/DoD environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience performing similar administrative, analytical, or financial support work
- 5+ years of financial/budget analysis experience (for financial duties)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable NACI background check
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, databases, and government/DoD MIS systems
- Experience working on classified and unclassified systems
- Strong written, verbal, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative & Travel Support
- Receive, document, and route incoming calls across multiple offices
- Prepare, distribute, and manage correspondence and communications
- Coordinate official travel, including:
- DTS travel authorizations and vouchers
- Travel status tracking and approval notifications
- Support for approximately 20 travel events per month
- Review administrative directives and assist with implementation planning
- Clerical & Program Support
- Prepare, edit, organize, and maintain program documentation (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Conduct data analysis on program documentation and fiscal data
- Track taskers, suspenses, and data calls
- Maintain internal tracking of program fiscal data, procurements, invoices, and purchase requests
- Support approximately 20 program documents weekly and 15 data calls monthly
- Logistical Support
- Maintain shared calendars and document scheduled meetings
- Coordinate meeting logistics and setup
- Support approximately 20–30 meetings per week
- Financial & Budget Analysis
- Provide financial analytical support for approximately six budget areas
- Enter, track, and maintain financial data for budgets, obligations, expenditures, appropriations, and purchase requests
- Maintain historical forecasting data and expenditure trends
- Review project funding to monitor balances, expenditure rates, and cost drivers
- Generate recurring and specialized financial reports
- Support monthly financial status and project health reports
- Participate in quarterly budget reviews and provide data clarifications
- Identify and document discrepancies impacting cost, schedule, or performance
- Organizational Analysis
- Support bi-weekly corporate data calls
- Conduct monthly audits of forecasting objectives and external customer billing
- Review Navy DSRC and HPCMP policies and procedures
- Assist with development and execution of implementation plans to improve mission effectiveness
Desired Experience
- Prior Navy, DoD, or Federal support experience
- Financial audits, forecasting, or compliance reporting experience
- Ability to work independently and across multiple offices
