Location: Dallas, TX (100% Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract (6 Months with Potential Extension)

Schedule: MondayFriday (Rotating Shifts: 7:00 AM4:00 PM or 8:00 AM5:00 PM)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Field Service Dispatcher to support daily field operations by coordinating work assignments, dispatching field personnel, and ensuring service requests are completed efficiently. This role serves as a key communication hub between field crews, customers, and internal departments to help maintain high service levels while supporting critical utility operations.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at multitasking, and has strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities
  • Dispatch and route field personnel using company dispatch systems to support daily operational needs.
  • Prioritize, assign, and adjust workloads to meet service-level expectations and changing business demands.
  • Monitor service orders and ensure work is completed accurately and in accordance with established procedures.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for service-order questions, updates, and issue resolution.
  • Communicate effectively with field personnel to provide support, resolve issues, and escalate concerns when necessary.
  • Manage a high volume of phone calls, emails, electronic work requests, and internal communications.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal departments to resolve service-order exceptions and scheduling conflicts.
  • Coordinate resources and assets to support operational priorities and customer commitments.
  • Make timely decisions while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced operations environment.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation within company systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous dispatching, scheduling, customer service, operations support, or logistics experience preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Comfortable working at a computer workstation for extended periods.
  • Ability to work effectively with employees, field personnel, and customers at all levels.
