Summary
Job TitleEssential Functions:Develop delivery routes and maintain contact with drivers throughout the dayCollaborate with management to modify daily routes to accommodate the needs of customersAct as a communication liaison through the two-way dispatching system and answer incoming phone calls from drivers on the roadCultivate strong relationships with drivers and customers to reduce the stress that comes with last minute schedule changesMonitor any sudden route changes or road construction issues and work with drivers to establish new routes for timely deliveriesEnsure continuous implementation and enforcement of Tire Discounters' policies and procedures.Build and maintain a team effort consistent with the goals of the companyAssist and perform other duties of absent employees as necessary.Be a strong mentor and lead by example.Protect company assets, cash, inventory, equipment, systems and documentsAdhere to state, local and federal lawsMaintain a drug-free workplaceAdhere to policies for work orders and invoicesKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Previous dispatcher work experience preferredMust be able to work a flexible schedule that includes occasional evenings and SaturdaysMinimum 2 years of previous customer service and/or sales experienceStrong telephone, verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks at one timeKPIs:Service Valet Outpost car count growth through effective routingService Valet Outpost customer service ratings through effective routingCar count of Service Valet Center and supported retail stores through effective routingEducation and Work Experience:High school diploma or higherMinimum age requirement of 18 yearsValid In state motor vehicle licenseAbility to work SaturdaysPhysical Demands:Sitting for long periods of timeMinimal walking, or standing, throughout the dayTalking, typing, and texting continually throughout the day
