Public Works Technician I - Solid Waste
Starting Rate: $23.50/Hour (This rate is non-negotiable and there is a 6-month probationary period). After hire, pay increases are dependent on length of service, advancement in the position, and other contractual factors.

Role Summary: To safely operate light to heavy equipment for the purpose of maintenance of City streets, solid waste collection and to operate and maintain water, sanitary and stormwater systems.
Training and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
- CDL Endorsement B with Air Brake endorsement
- CDL A endorsement within 6 months of hire
- Previous experience in road maintenance, underground utility construction or landscape construction
