A leading global law firm is seeking a mid-level White Collar Crime & Investigations Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join its highly regarded Litigation Practice in Washington, D.C.This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with experience in white collar crime, government investigations and complex civil litigation to work on sophisticated, high-stakes matters. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting investigations and managing complex litigation from discovery through trial, together with outstanding research, writing and analytical skills.Location: Washington, D.C.Responsibilities:Assist with complex white collar crime and investigations matters.Conduct internal and external investigations involving sophisticated and potentially high-stakes issues.Assist clients with responses to government investigations and regulatory inquiries.Manage complex civil litigation matters through all phases of the litigation lifecycle.Conduct discovery, including document review, fact development and witness-related work.Assist with trial preparation and participate in matters through trial.Conduct extensive legal and factual research.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda and other litigation and investigative materials.Analyse complex legal and factual issues and develop effective litigation and investigative strategies.Work closely with partners and clients on sensitive and high-profile matters.Qualifications:3-5 years of experience at a leading law firm or comparable litigation practice.Experience in white collar crime and investigations strongly preferred.Experience conducting investigations and managing complex civil litigation matters.Experience handling matters through multiple stages of litigation, including discovery and trial.Excellent legal research and writing skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Stellar academic credentials.Comparable experience at a sophisticated law firm.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage complex matters effectively and work collaboratively with partners and clients.Opportunity to work on sophisticated white collar, investigations and complex litigation matters.Exposure to high-stakes and nationally significant disputes and investigations.Direct interaction with leading litigation partners and sophisticated clients.Opportunity to gain experience across the full litigation lifecycle, from investigation and discovery through trial.Collaborative and intellectually rigorous working environment.National platform with access to sophisticated resources and clients.Strong opportunity for continued professional and career development.Our advertisements use salary and experience as a guide only.
