Summary
To support critical cyber operations, the remote Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) Subject Matter Expert (SME) will oversee the comprehensive Information Assurance program, ensuring compliance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) while advising executive leadership on risk management and security posture.Key responsibilitiesOversee daily cybersecurity operations and maintain an appropriate operational security posture for assigned systemsAdvise executive leadership on risks, vulnerabilities, and the overall security health of information systemsEnsure compliance with security documentation and facilitate security assessments and audits to maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) statusRequired qualificationsBachelor's Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent verifiable work experienceSecurity+ certification or higher; additional certifications such as CISSP, CAP, or CASP are desiredEight (8) years of progressive experience in information assurance, cybersecurity engineering, or ISSO/ISSM rolesMust be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a background investigationAdvanced mastery of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and associated security controls
