Summary
To support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the full-time remote Geospatial ISSO with Public Trust Clearance will serve as the principal advisor on cybersecurity requirements, manage security controls, and coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure compliance and risk management for geospatial capabilities.Key responsibilitiesServe as the principal advisor on cybersecurity requirements and risk management for geospatial capabilitiesMaintain and update the System Security Plan (SSP) and supporting documentation to reflect the current operating environmentExecute the Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) program and provide visibility into system assets and vulnerabilitiesRequired qualificationsBachelor's or master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Geography, or a related field6+ years of cybersecurity or information-assurance experience, including at least five years as an ISSODemonstrated experience with NIST SP 800-53 security controls and maintaining SSPs and authorization artifactsActive CISSP, CISM, GSLC, CAP/CGRC, CASP+, or another advanced information-security or risk-management certificationExperience securing AWS or other enterprise cloud environments and knowledge of DHS MD 4300A or comparable federal policies
