We are seeking an experienced Automation Gate Tech who has a CLEAN DRIVING record (No Tickets for 3 years on your record, you will be required to provide you driving record at the time of interview) to join our team. In this position you will be working by yourself 98% of the time. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing site for installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components. This includes troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues, reading blueprints and schematics, and adhering to all safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of electrical systems, a commitment to safety, and excellent problem-solving skills and detailed oriented. This is an OUTDOOR position you must be able to work in the HEAT; this is not an inside desk job. Current job hours are 7am- 3:30pm Mon- Thursday. You are on Call Fridays!

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Follow blueprints and building codes to determine the correct layout for wiring.
  • Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers.
  • Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices.
  • Repair or replace wiring.
  • Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment including oscilloscopes, ammeters, and test lamps.
  • Able to Weld for Gate Installs
  • Educate the customer of what the issue is and how to fix.
  • Dropping Brochures off to potential clients
  • Using A Tablet for notes and pics of jobs before and after

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00- $25.00

Expected hours: 32+ hours
