Dispatch incoming calls to the appropriate Assistant State's Attorneys assigned to the Felony Review Unit and provide administrative support when needed.Off Days: Sunday and MondayPhysical RequirementsLight Work: The position requires the ability to stand or walk frequently, often for extended periods. You may need to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 20 pounds regularly, and occasionally heavier items. The job may also involve a significant amount of walking or standing relative to sedentary roles.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAnswer, log and update all call information on digital FRU “Happy Sheets”Dispatch case information to ASAs assigned to that shiftNavigate Search Warrant Power App and digital blue bookComplete the FRU ASA ON-Call roster sheet for the next dispatcherDispatch Assistant State's Attorneys to appropriate police areaResponsible for logistics of all FRU fleet cars, Jet Packs, and other electronics used during the shiftEnter ERI data into the databaseMonitor lobby entry via call systemMaintain State's Attorney's Office work product sheetsPrepare subpoenas, memos, and other correspondenceConduct CRIMES research when needed to locate case informationServe as relief dispatcher as neededMaintain confidentiality of information and systemsInteract regularly with State's Attorney Office employees and personnel of outside agenciesPerform additional duties and responsibilities as required.QualificationsRequiredThe candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multi-taskProficiency in Microsoft ExcelPreferredKnowledge of SharePoint, Outlook, TEAMS, Clerks, ICLEAR and CRIMESEEO Message: The Cook County State's Attorney's Office (CCSAO) is an equal opportunity employer, which seeks to recruit, develop, and retain the most talented people from a diverse candidate pool.
