Summary
Candidate Physical Agility Test :The Hopkinsville Fire Department will be conducting the Candidate Physical Agility Test (CPAT) on September 26th, 2026, for the Paducah Fire Department at 112 Phillip Meacham Way, Hopkinsville, KY, 42240.
The CPAT does not have a testing fee.
Individuals can drive themselves or request free transportation to the testing site. Please call 270-444-8523 to request transportation.
Successful completion of the CPAT provides a one-year certification.
Due to state regulations, there is a maximum of 50 candidates allowed to test. Registration will be open until September 21st, or until 50 candidates are registered, whichever comes first.
Applicants will be contacted closer to the testing date with information regarding individual testing times.

To participate in the CPAT examination, all candidates must appear on time and present valid state identification. Examples of valid state identification are a driver's license and state ID.
Participants must wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, and gloves. Gloves will be provided if you do not bring your own. Sweatpants and tennis shoes are acceptable.
