Summary

Supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs, the full-time Functional and Process Improvement Lead will conduct functional assessments, facilitate process mapping sessions, and develop actionable recommendations to enhance the quality and efficiency of specialty care services for Veterans.Key responsibilitiesConduct functional assessments and identify process improvement opportunities across SCPO programs and initiativesDevelop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and digital tools to support continuous quality improvementCollaborate with stakeholders to translate improvement opportunities into sustainable solutions and communicate findings to Government leadershipRequired qualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field4+ years of experience in process improvement, operations management, or program analysis, preferably in a federal agency or healthcare settingExperience with functional assessments, process/workflow mapping, and developing improvement recommendationsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Power Platform applicationsStrong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to work independently across diverse teams
