The individual must have an extensive yacht and marine repair background and be able to perform mechanical, electrical, outfitting repairs, and preventative maintenance on our fleet of Hinckley power vessels.Our team delivers best in class service to our Members, while enjoying a team and work culture unique to the yachting industry. Our technicians have the opportunity to work with the Club year-round, providing top notch equipment, training and competitive benefits.What We Offer:Competitive compensationRelocation assistanceCompany paid travel expensesPaid vacation: Enjoy time off, because we value a work life balance.401k retirement plan: We offer 401k contribution opportunities with a competitive 401k employer match.Health insurance plan: Comprehensive coverage for you and your family's peace of mind.Telephone reimbursement: Eligible employees receive a cell phone reimbursement or utilization of a company provided tablet.Company recognition incentives after three and five years of servicePrimary Responsibilities:Travel to harbors to repair B&G fleet vesselsMaintain a clean and tidy service support vehicleMaintain spare parts inventory for the service vehicleAnswer incoming service callsMaintain B&G vessels to USCG T-Boat regulationsManage expense tracking for all parts/materials purchases made on corporate credit cardMaintain a good working relationship with captains and other support staffRequired Skills & Abilities:Prior experience as a marine technicianMarine trade school/engine certificationKnowledge of Hinckley & jet drive yachts strongly preferredMinimum 5 years experience preferredOrganized, self motivated individual with the ability to work independentlyValid, unencumbered driver's licenseWeekend availability for on callEssential Job Requirements:Must be able to lift 50lbsMust be able to climb ladders and scaffolding when necessaryMust be able to maneuver about vessels, both on and off the waterMust be able to wear a respirator and other PPE as requiredMust be able to kneel, crouch, and reach overhead frequentlyEmployees will be subject to environments where VOC chemicals (e.g., epoxy, urethane) are present.
