Our Purpose: Bringing quality, safety, and sustainability to life.What are we looking for?The Dispatcher is responsible for dispatching field technicians to projects daily as well as additional administrative tasks, typing daily reports. This position will travel at least 5% of the time.Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday, First ShiftSalary & Benefits InformationThe base wage or salary range for this position is $25-$30 per hour. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.In addition to competitive compensation packages, when working with Intertek you can expect benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with company match, generous vacation / sick time (PTO), tuition reimbursement and more.What you'll do:Work directly with subcontractors to coordinate and schedule inspectionsTrack field and lab supplies inventory and place ordersAnswer and direct client calls to appropriate staffAssist with Company Fleet Vehicle maintenance scheduling and inventoryCreate various documents, spreadsheets, etc. utilizing Microsoft Office softwareFollow up with clients regarding scheduling requests and reportingPerform various general lab and field administrative support dutiesResearch a wide variety of information requestsMay assist with updating, and/or reviewing local operating procedures and/or work instructionsMinimum Requirements & Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED equivalentTwo years of dispatching or administrative experience is preferredExperience is Microsoft Word and Excel preferredAbility to work in a fast paced environmentAbility to plan, organize, and complete a variety of projects within established standards, objectives, and time framesPreferred Requirements & Qualifications:Dispatching experience in the Construction Materials Testing industry is preferredIntertek: Total Quality.
