Construction Surveillance Technician (CST)Cape Fox Facilities Services is seeking an experienced Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) to support a new opportunity. Responsibilities include:Monitor the activities of all personnel on the Secure Construction Site (SCS) at all timesDocument activities of personnel on the SCSDocument all security incidents on the SCSPerform in-depth inspection of construction materials, tools, and equipment prior to and after their use/installation ensuring all items are free of tampering and identifying all anomaliesInspections will include the use of specialized equipment including the Non-Linear Junction Detector, Spectrum Analyzer, and Portable X-Ray machineUtilize Technical Security Counter Measure equipment to screen equipment and materialsIdentify anomalies and variances in construction work against the official project construction plansPerform close-in/Seal-in inspections in accordance with the CSP, SSM, and SSC DirectionPerform access control functions including personnel and bag searchesCarry out opening and closing procedures of the SCS each day as directed by the SSMOperations may include 24/7/365 operationsTravel Requirements 0 - 10%Active TS/SCI ClearanceMinimum of five (5) years of construction experience or equivalent experience such as security experience. Security experience must be a minimum of two (2) years of construction experience directly related to SCIF construction or physical securityKnowledgeable of common listening devices used by foreign intelligence servicesMust hold a valid certificate for the successful completion of a forty (40) hour or greater CST training courseMust be able to stand, sit, bend, walk, kneel, and perform other related physical activities for extended periods of timeHave experience working with construction tradesThe total hourly pay for this non-exempt position ($49.09 per hour for up to 40 hours per week) is comprised of a base hourly rate of $44 plus $5.09 per hour Health & Welfare (H&W) for up to 40 hours per week as required by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS) regulations. The above rate represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. In addition, for eligible positions we offer a variety of benefits including specified holidays, paid leave, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, as well as 401K with company match.
