The Contra Costa Health Services CCRMC houses the Diagnostic Imaging Department which provides diagnostic services (routine and specialized) and interpretation for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency patients of all ages.

The eligible list established from this recruitment may remain in effect for six (6) months. Minimum QualificationsCertificates Required: Possession and maintenance of a valid certificate issued by the California Department of Public Health as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT);
ANDEither: Current certification and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with credentials in either Computed Tomography (CT)
OR Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI);
OR Current certification and registration with the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) with credentials in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI);
AND 3. Possession of a valid Radiologic Technologist Fluoroscopy Permit issued by the California Department of Public Health;
AND 4. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification issued by the American Red Cross.
Experience: Two (2) years of full-time, or its equivalent, experience performing diagnostic imaging procedures with at least six (6) months of performing complex CT or MRI diagnostic imaging procedures in an acute care hospital.

The Human Resources Department may change the examination steps noted above in accordance with the Personnel Management Regulations and accepted selection practices. CONVICTION HISTORYAfter you receive a conditional job offer, you will be fingerprinted, and your fingerprints will be sent to the California Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The resulting report of your conviction history (if any) will be used to determine whether the nature of your conviction conflicts with the specific duties and responsibilities of the job for which you have received a conditional job offer. If a conflict exists, you will be asked to present any evidence of rehabilitation that may mitigate the conflict, except when federal or state regulations bar employment in specific circumstances. DISASTER SERVICE WORKERAll Contra Costa County employees are designated Disaster Service Workers through state and local law.
