    Reserve Police Officer - The Town of Truckee Police Department is seeking a part-time Reserve Police Officer. The Town currently employs only Level I reserves on a part-time basis. Reserve officers can serve in many capacities to support the mission of the department including uniformed patrol, investigations, special event security along with bike and boat patrol. After initial field training, reserve officers are expected to maintain sufficient proficiency to perform the duties of a solo-patrol officer. All uniforms and safety equipment are provided to Reserve Officers. At the time of appointment, candidates must be at least 21 years of age; meet the minimum Peace Officer Selection Requirements established by the California Government Code and the California Commission on Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST) and meet the minimum California POST requirement for a Level I Reserve Police Officer.
