Junior Engineer: $109,021 - $143,091
Assistant Engineer: $121,135 - $158,990
Associate Engineer: $135,907 - $178,378

USD is embarking on a transformative journey, and we want you to be a part of it! We're seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven engineer to join our Capital Improvements Projects Team (CIP). From overseeing projects like the Anaerobic Digester Rehabilitation, Wastewater Pumping Station improvements, and the Energy Resilience projects, you'll play a pivotal role in revolutionizing wastewater treatment and collection facilities.
Examples of Duties
What You'll Do:- Lead engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Prepare complex engineering studies and bid documents.
- Coordinate activities with consultants and contractors.
- Ensure project quality, budget adherence, and timely delivery.
- Manage contracts, budgets, and schedules with finesse.
Qualifications
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering (ABET accredited)
- Junior Engineer: Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification within one year of employment
- Assistant Engineer: Minimum two years of relevant experience, EIT certification required.
- Associate Engineer: Minimum four years of relevant experience, Professional Engineer registration required.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in wastewater engineering and problem-solving.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities.
- A penchant for quick and effective learning.
