    Duties and Responsibilities:

    The Project Coordinator provides support for the coordination of ARCS activities, including communicating, collaborating, building and maintaining relationships with university, industry, government, and community partners. Core functions include implementing on-boarding process and events, making purchases, assisting with NASA/CSUN Annual Reports, and supporting making check requests for reimbursements and travels arrangement.
    • Implement ARCS student on-boarding process for all new students and faculty, including making sure that policies/procedures are disseminated to students/faculty, making sure they signed in with TUC. Also include the onboarding instructions and documents within the Email, such as ARCS agreement, citizenship, equipment policy, CROP space policy, direct deposit link, ARCS Pre-engagement survey, NASA Gateway portal. Reviewing documents and following up with students to have on-boarding steps completed.
    • Plan, organize and implement orientation for the new hires, pass out ARCS T-shirts and keep records (record keeping, student’s registrations) on Box.
    • Implement events planning (RSVPs, monthly seminars, master calendars, parking management, event-related purchase, reservations, arrange meetings)
    • Make purchases (e.g., supplies, food) and update inventory
    • Assist with NASA and CSUN annual reports
    • Support preparing check requests/reimbursements and perform other assigned duties


    Knowledge, Specialized Skills, and Abilities:
    • Having experience working with NASA and Government research collaborators, faculty, and students are important for this position.


    Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule

    This position is employed through The University Corporation (TUC).

    The anticipated hiring range: $21/hr - $27/hr

    Full Pay range: $21.31/hr - $41.14/hr

    Time Base: Full-Time

    Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision
