  • Job Description

    MoDOT is seeking highly motivated students to fill College Employment Training (CET) positions which give students the chance to use current classroom knowledge and gain hands-on experience in their field of study. For more information about this program, check out the College Employment Training Program .

    Positions are available statewide for students majoring in programs, such as: Engineering, Design, Skilled Craft, Construction and Materials, Information Technology, and Business related fields.

    As a CET student, you:

    • Work part-time (20 hours week) OR up to a full-time schedule.
    • Are paid a competitive salary.
    • Accrue annual and sick leave.

    • Earn tuition reimbursement.
    • Have an opportunity to gain full-time employment upon graduation.

    To be eligible, you must:

    • Have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
    • Have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA.
    • Be enrolled and pursuing a two-year degree in a STEM-related field or four-year degree in a STEM-related, or business-related field.
    • Be enrolled full time at a public funded Missouri college or university.
    • Be at least 18 years of age.
    • Meet MoDOT's hiring requirements and minimum qualifications for available MoDOT's related technical positions.
