SUMMARY OF DUTIES
The Digital Content Creator will support the content creation for the Chief Policy Office (Youth Development and Education, Housing, Neighborhood Strategy and Partnerships). Generates digital-related content for the City of Atlanta Chief Policy Office social media platforms. Works under the direction of the Senior Advisor for Youth Development and Education to create, design, coordinate, and generate digital-related content for the City of Atlanta websites, social media platforms, and assets for community outreach efforts. Assists management in developing and executing the editorial calendar for the Chief Policy Office, which includes Youth Development and Education, Housing, Neighborhoods and Partnerships. Implements the Chief Policy Office’s digital content strategy and generates digital media that increases brand loyalty and collaborates with other professionals. Attends and participates in various team meetings, strategy sessions, community events, and other forums by driving to meetings throughout the city.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designs and creates digital-related content and assets for online and in-person outreach efforts (social media, brochures, videos, program announcements, infographics and educational materials).
• Attends and participates in various team meetings, strategy sessions, community events, and other forums by driving to meetings throughout the city and/or engaging virtually.
• Generates ideas for content creation, including designing materials, graphic design, branding guides and all creative needs facing the Chief Policy Office.
• Creates and manages social media for the Chief Policy Office.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
• Expertise in graphic design, to include static and motion graphics
• Expertise in digital video creation and video publishing
• Knowledge of social media and digital media
• Knowledge of Social media
Preferred Requirements (separate from minimum requirements and not required to qualify for the job)
1. 2-4 years creating impactful digital content
