Currently, there is one full-time Information Technology (IT) Analyst vacancy assigned to Applications. This position will be responsible for the development, implementation, and support of enterprise applications that are integral to the day-to-day operations of the organization. Key duties for this position are the design and development of computer applications, enterprise system implementation & integrations, as well as IT related business process analysis & re-engineering. SCHEDULE: - This position may work a 5/40, 9/80, or 4/10 schedule.

Experience & Education and License/CertificateA combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities may be qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
Experience: Depending on area of assignment, three (3) years of increasingly responsible professional experience in: application development, design & testing, web-based applications and database integration, computer systems analysis, data analysis and reporting;
or hardware and software support, with at least one year of experience in administering Microsoft Server, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Active Directory, Security and LAN/WAN software and hardware;
or experience designing, implementing and maintaining GIS databases, surveying principles, cartography and map layer design.
Education: Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in management information systems, computer science, or a related field.
License or Certificate: Due to the performance of some field duties which require the operation of a personal or City vehicle, a valid and appropriate California driver's license and an acceptable driving record are required.
