- Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as a professional engineer in Traffic or Transportation Engineering, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Must actively participate in professional associations in order to keep current in the changes of the law and practice of job responsibilities.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of municipal laws, codes, policies and guidelines applicable to the job responsibilities.
- Must be a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas
- Must possess valid Texas Class C Driver's License.
Provides high level traffic engineering related support to the Town of Prosper, Director of Engineering Services and all supporting divisions. Plans, organizes, directs and supervises the activities, programs, and operations of the Traffic Engineering Division of the Engineering Services Department including supervising and coordinating the department's transportation planning, traffic engineering, traffic safety for all modes of travel, traffic calming, private development review process related to traffic engineering, and responding to traffic requests and inquiries. Provide excellent customer service to visitors and staff, on phone, email, or in person.
